Tromso vibes and Northern Lights 🌌

Lekker location right by the harbour, we saw the Northern Lights right outside our window! Brekkie had great options and those afternoon waffles were a highlight. Friendly staff, always up for a chat. Totally enjoyed the scoop on local spots from the chommie at reception!

Room was a bit tight on storage, had to live out of our bakkies.

Fab, stunning location in Tromso, really close to port, a stones throw from the main shopping area and the harbor with a nice view across the water and towards the Tromso bridge. Also, in the centre of Tromso.

the room i booked was well-appointed and good-sized with a gorgeous view and comfortable beds, for example. the location was amazing - near to the marina in tromso, a stones throw from the main shopping area and directly across the bridge from the arctic cathedral, the ishavskatedralen and the harbour front. it also was really close to everything.

The sauna with fine views provided a relaxing escape.

I was disappointed with the room's condition. There was a noticeable water leakage issue that hadn't been addressed, which ruined the overall atmosphere. Cleanliness was subpar, and I felt uncomfortable in a room that should have been well-maintained.

Cleanliness in the room should be better. The spray for cleaning the equipment is also missing in the fitness room and the display of the treadmill only works partially.

I enjoyed this well-maintained and well-organized hotel. It was in a magnificent and wonderful location with Tromso Cathedral nearby.

Good value that this hotel provide the free buffet.

Had a fantastic stay, especially enjoyed the waffle bar and the hearty evening meals that helped with costs. Just wish there was more storage in the room for my clothes! Would definitely stay again.

Very very helpful staff, the breakfasts are light with all the options.

We stayed in the With seven nights, and enjoyed our stay there. The With is situated in the harbor, on the water. For 100 NOK added to the price, we got an upgraded room, overlooking the water, the bridge and the mountains - a beautiful view. Since everything in Norway, including food, is expensive, our stay at the With saved us money. Breakfast is rich and included in the room price. Tea, Coffee and hot cocoa as well as apples and cookies are free all day long. From 3 PM everybody can prepare waffles. From 6 PM a hot dinner is served. The staff (except for one employee in reception), and including the manager, is extremely helpful, showing huge amounts of patience for what must be the same questions posed everyday by everybody - what is the weather forecast, what are the chances of seeing the northern lights, which bus goes where etc. What was especially nice was the enthusiasm and real joy of helping which the staff showed. We asked for extra pillows, which were brought to our room by the charming Egyptian girl, who refused adamantly our tip offer, saying: "this is my job". Lina and another girl who worked in reception were also especially nice and helpful. Two caveats: room 513 does not have a phone nor could I find an electric socket near the desk. On Sunday they have only one girl who cleans the rooms, so that ours was taken care of partially (no towel change) late in the evening. Let these small complaints effect you - it's a wonderful hotel, and if we'll return to Tromso, we'll definitely stay there

The breakfast was very tasty and varied. We also liked the offer with the waffles in the afternoon. Overall we had a great time there.

Our superior room was cozy and had stunning views right over the water, which made relaxing so much easier. The hotel offers a nice sauna and a comfy lounge area to unwind after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, there wasn’t much space for clothes in the room, but it didn’t ruin our time at all! 😊
